ジェイコブ・フレンケル（Jacob Aharon Frenkel、1943年 - ）は、イスラエルの経済学者、事業家である。現在はJPMorgan Chase Internationalの会長を務める。

略歴

• 1943年 イギリス委任統治領パレスチナに生まれる。
• エルサレム・ヘブライ大学を卒業（B.A.）する。
• シカゴ大学で学びM.A.とPh.D.を取る。
• 1973年 - 1987年　シカゴ大学経済学部で教える（のちThe David Rockefeller Professor of International Economicsという教授となる）。
• 1987年 - 1991年　IMFの経済顧問兼調査局長となる。
• 1991年 - 2000年　イスラエル（中央）銀行総裁を2期務める。
• 1995年 - 1996年　米州開発銀行総裁会議の副議長となる。
• 1999年 - 2000年　欧州復興開発銀行総裁会議の副議長となる。
• 2000年 - 2004年　メリルリンチ・インターナショナルの会長およびメリルリンチのソブリン・アドバイザー・アンド・グローバル・ファイナンシャル・インスティテューションズ・グループの会長となる。
• 2004年 - 2009年　アメリカン・インターナショナル・グループ（AIG）の副会長となる。
• 2009年 - 現在　JPMorgan Chase Internationalの会長となる。

• 2002年、経済学におけるイスラエル賞を受賞。
• テル・アビブ大学からHugo Ramniceanu Prize（経済学）、経済学のthe Czech Karel Englis Prize、アルゼンチン政府からthe "Order de Mayo al Merito"勲章、イタリア政府からthe "Order of Merit"勲章を受賞する。
• 1993年、『エマージング・マーケット』より「1993年経済政策賞」に選ばれ、1997年、『ユーロマネー』より「今年の中央銀行家賞」に選ばれる。
