トーマス・クリステンセン

トーマス・クリステンセン英語:Thomas J. Christensen、1962年 - )はアメリカ合衆国の国際政治学者、プリンストン大学政治学部教授。専門は国際安全保障、中国外交、東アジアの国際関係。

略歴

1984年、ハヴァフォード大学卒業(歴史学専攻)。1987年、ペンシルベニア大学大学院修士課程を修了。北京大学への留学を経て、1993年、コロンビア大学大学院よりPh.D.(政治学)の学位を取得。

コーネル大学助教授(1993-97年)、同准教授(1997-98年)、マサチューセッツ工科大学准教授(1998-2002年)、同教授(2002年-03年)を経て、2003年7月より現職。

2006年7月から2008年7月まで東アジア・太平洋担当国務副次官補(中国、台湾、モンゴル担当)を務めた。2000年より民間NPO米中関係全米委員会(NCUSCR)の理事・執行委員を務める。
