ალტეპეტლი

ალტეპეტლი (ნაუატ. Āltepētl) — აცტეკების სახელმწიფოს მსხვილი ადმინისტრაციული ერთეული ეთნოტერიტორიული მაჩვენებლის მიხედვით. სიტყვა დიალექტურია და წარმოიქმნა ნაუატლის ორი ფესვისგან: ā-tl ნიშნავს „წყალს“, ხოლო tepē-tl — „მთას“. ძირითადად მიაკუთვნებენ აცტეკების სამთა კავშირის ერთეულებს.

ანალოგები: "cah" მაიას ენაზე და "ñuu" მიჰტეკების ენაზე.
