곡주란속(曲柱蘭屬, 학명: Cyrtopodium 키르토포디움^[*])은 보춘화족의 단형 아족인 곡주란아족(曲柱蘭亞族, 학명: Cyrtopodiinae 키르토포디이나이^[*])에 속하는 유일한 속이다.^[1][2] 속명인 "키르토포디움"은 고대 그리스어로 "굽은, 휘어진"을 뜻하는 "퀴르토스(κυρτός)"와 "발"을 뜻하는 "포디온(πόδιον)"의 합성어이다. 독특하게 굽은 꽃술대(예주) 때문에 이와 같은 이름이 붙었다.
