സുഭദ്ര പ്രധാൻ (ജനനം ജൂൺ 5, 1986) ഒരു ഇന്ത്യൻ ഹോക്കി കളിക്കാരിയാണ്.
ആദ്യകാല ജീവിതം
[തിരുത്തുക]1986 ജൂൺ 5-ന് ഒറീസ്സയിലെ ഒരു ചെറിയ പട്ടണമായ സോനമാരയിൽ ആദിവാസി കുടുംബത്തിലാണ് സുഭദ്ര പ്രധാൻ ജനിച്ചത്.[1] ബിർസ മുണ്ട സ്കൂളിൽ[2] നിന്ന് സ്കൂൾ വിദ്യാഭ്യാസവും പാട്യാലയിലെ ഖൽസ കോളേജിൽ നിന്ന് പ്രീ-യൂണിവേഴ്സിറ്റി വിദ്യാഭ്യാസവും നേടി.[1] റൂർക്കേലയിലെ പാൻപോഷ് ഹോക്കി ഹോസ്റ്റലിൽ ആദ്യകാല പഠനം പൂർത്തീകരിച്ചു. 1997ൽ ഹോക്കി ജീവിതം ആരംഭിച്ചു.[3]
കരിയർ
[തിരുത്തുക]2000ൽ ഇന്ത്യൻ ജൂനിയർ ടീമിനായി സുഭദ്ര പ്രധാൻ ഉൾപ്പെട്ടിരുന്നു. ഒക്ടോബർ/നവംബർ 2004ലെ ജൂനിയർ ഏഷ്യ കപ്പിൽ മൂന്നാം സ്ഥാനം ലഭിച്ച ജൂനിയർ ടീമിനെ നയിച്ചത് സുഭദ്ര പ്രധാനാണ്. 2003ൽ സീനിയർ വിഭാഗത്തിൽ അരങ്ങേറ്റം കുറിച്ചു.[4] 2004 ഏഷ്യ കപ്പിൽ സ്വർണ്ണ മെഡൽ കരസ്ഥമാക്കിയ ടീമിലും 2006 കോമൺവെൽത്ത് ഗെയിംസിൽ വെള്ളി മെഡൽ കരസ്ഥമാക്കിയ ടീമിലും സുഭദ്ര പ്രധാൻ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു. 2007ൽ ഡച്ച് ക്ലബ് എച്സി ഡെൻ ബോഷ് ടീമിനു വേണ്ടി കളിക്കുക വഴി സുഭദ്ര പ്രധാനും ജസിജീത് കൗറും യൂറോപ്യൻ ക്ലബിൽ കളിക്കുന്ന ആദ്യ ഇന്ത്യൻ വനിതകളായി.[5][6] ഇന്ത്യ രണ്ടാം സ്ഥാനത്തെത്തിയ 2009 ഏഷ്യ കപ്പിൽ സുഭദ്ര പ്രധാൻ 'പ്ലെയർ ഓഫ് ദി ടൂർണമെന്റ്' ആയി തെരഞ്ഞെടുക്കപ്പെട്ടു.[7][8]
വ്യക്തി ജീവിതം
[തിരുത്തുക]2009 ഏപ്രിൽ മാസത്തിൽ സുഭദ്ര പ്രധാൻ പ്രദീപ് നായിക്കിനെ വിവാഹം ചെയ്തു.[3] സൗത്ത് ഈസ്റ്റേൺ റെയിൽവേയിൽ ജോലിചെയ്യുന്ന സുഭദ്ര പ്രധാൻ ഇപ്പോൾ റാഞ്ചിയിൽ ആണ് ജോലി ചെയ്യുന്നത്.[3] 2006ൽ ഇന്ത്യൻ ഹോക്കിയ്ക്ക് നൽകിയ സംഭാവനകൾക്ക് ഏകലവ്യ പുരസ്കാരം നൽകി ആദരിച്ചു.[9]
