ജമ്മു കാശ്മീരിലെ ഉറിയിൽ 2016 സപ്തംബർ 18ന് നാല് അതിക്രമകാരികൾ ഇന്ത്യൻ സൈന്യത്തെ ആക്രമിച്ച സംഭവമാണിത്.ഒരു സംഘവും ഇതുവരെ ഇതിൻറെ ഉത്തരവാദിത്തം ഏറ്റെടുത്തിട്ടില്ല.[10] [11]

ഈ ആക്രണം നടക്കുന്ന സമയം കാശ്മീർ താഴ് വാരം സംഘർഷ കലുഷിതമായിരുന്നു.ഈ ആക്രണത്തിന് മുമ്പ് നടന്ന അക്രമ സംഭവങ്ങളിൽ 85 സിവിലിയൻമാരാണ് കൊല്ലപ്പെട്ടത്.[12] കൂടാതെ ആയിരത്തോളം പേർക്ക് പരുക്കേൽക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു.[13]

2015ൻറെ തുടക്കം മുതലെ ഇന്ത്യൻ സുരക്ഷ സൈന്യവുമായി ഫിദായീൻ ആക്രണം നടന്നിരുന്നു.[14] 2015 ജൂലൈയിലെ ഗുരുദാസ്പൂർ ആക്രമണം നടന്നു.
