കണ്ഡമാൽ കലാപം
ഒറീസയിലെ കണ്ഡമാൽ ജില്ലയിൽ 2008 ആഗസ്റ്റ്‌ 25ന് ആരംഭിച്ചു ദിവസങ്ങളോളം നീണ്ട ക്രിസ്തുമത വിശ്വാസികൾക്കെതിരെ ആർ.എസ്.എസ്സിന്റെ നേതൃത്വത്തിൽ ഹിന്ദുത്വ വർഗീയവാദികൾ കൂട്ടക്കൊലയും തീവെപ്പും കൊള്ളയും നടത്തിയ സംഭവമാണ് കണ്ഡമാൽ കലാപം എന്നറിയപ്പെടുന്നത്. ബി.ജെ.പി എം.എൽ.എ ആയിരുന്ന മനോജ്‌ പ്രധാന്റെ നേതൃത്വത്തിൽ നിരവധി ക്രിസ്ത്യൻ കേന്ദ്രങ്ങൾ ആക്രമിച്ചു തീയിട്ട സംഭവത്തിൽ 45 പേർ കലാപത്തിൽ കൊല്ലപ്പെട്ടു.[2] 1,400 ക്രിസ്ത്യൻ വീടുകളും 80 ചർച്ചുകളും കലാപത്തിൽ തകർക്കപ്പെട്ടു[3]. 18,500[3] പേർ വീടുകൾ നഷ്ടപ്പെട്ടു അഭയാർഥി കേന്ദ്രങ്ങളിലേക്ക് പാലായനം ചെയ്യേണ്ടി വന്നു."
