ജാനറ്റ് ലെവിസ്

ജാനറ്റ് ലോക്സ്ലി ലെവിസ് (ജീവിതകാലം : ആഗസ്റ്റ് 17, 1899 – നവംബർ 30 അല്ലെങ്കിൽ ഡിസംബർ 1, 1998)^[1][2] ഒരു അമേരിക്കൻ നോവലിസ്റ്റും കവയിത്രിയുമായിരുന്നു.

ജീവിതരേഖ

ജാനറ്റ് ലെവിസ് ഇല്ലിനോയിസിലെ ചിക്കാഗോയിൽ ജനിച്ചു. യൂണിവേഴ്സിറ്റി ഓഫ് ചിക്കാഗോയിൽനിന്ന് ബിരുദമെടുത്ത അവർ ഗ്ലെൻവേ വെസ്‍കോട്ട്, എലിസബത്ത് മഡോക്സ് റോബർട്ട്‍സ്, ഭാവി വരൻ യ്വോർ വിൻറേർസ് എന്നിവർകൂടി ഉൾപ്പെട്ട യൂണിവേഴ്സിറ്റി സാഹിത്യ മണ്ഡലത്തിലെ അംഗവും കൂടിയായിരുന്നു. അതുപോലെ യൂണിവേഴ്സിറ്റി ഓഫ് ചിക്കാഗോ പോയട്രി ക്ലബ്ബിലെ സജീവ അംഗവുമായിരുന്നു. അവർ കാലിഫോർണിയിലെ സ്റ്റാൻഫോർഡ് യൂണിവേഴ്സിറ്റിയിലും ബെർക്കിലിയിലെ യൂണിവേഴ്സിറ്റഇ ഓഫ് കാലിഫോർണിയയിലും പഠിച്ചിരുന്നു.^[3]
