അബോകുട്ടയിൽ ഒരു ക്രിസ്ത്യൻ പിതാവിനും മുസ്ലീം അമ്മയ്ക്കും മകനായി ബുക്കി ജനിച്ചു.[5] അവർ ലാഗോസ് സർവകലാശാലയിൽ ചേർന്നു സാമ്പത്തിക ശാസ്ത്രത്തിൽ ബിരുദം നേടി.[6]

1996-ൽ ബക്കി തന്റെ അഭിനയ ജീവിതം ആരംഭിച്ചു. വാലെ അഡെനുഗയുടെ ടെലിവിഷൻ പരമ്പരയായ സൂപ്പർ സ്റ്റോറി ഉൾപ്പെടെ, യൊറൂബ, ഇംഗ്ലീഷ് ഭാഷകളിലെ നിരവധി നോളിവുഡ് സിനിമകളിൽ അവർ അഭിനയിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്.

2014-ൽ, മുൻ ഗവർണർ ഒലുസെഗുൻ ഒസോബയുടെ നേതൃത്വത്തിലുള്ള സോഷ്യൽ ഡെമോക്രാറ്റിക് പാർട്ടിയുടെ (SDP) പ്ലാറ്റ്‌ഫോമിന് കീഴിലുള്ള ഒഗൺ സ്റ്റേറ്റ് ഹൗസ് ഓഫ് അസംബ്ലിയിൽ ബഹുമാനപ്പെട്ട സ്ഥാനത്തേക്ക് ബക്കി റൈറ്റ് മത്സരിച്ചു.[7][8][9]

ബക്കി റൈറ്റ് വിവാഹിതയാണ്. അവർക്ക് എനിയോള, ജിബെംഗ എന്നീ രണ്ട് ആൺമക്കളുണ്ട്.[10]അവരുടെ മകന് ഒരു മകൻ ജനിച്ചപ്പോൾ അവർ ഒരു മുത്തശ്ശിയായി.[11][12][13]
