Michael Loewe (1922–2025) var en britisk sinolog og medredaktør og ‑forfatter av The Cambridge History of Ancient China (ISBN 9780521470308), et ledsagende bind som dekker perioden forut for de som behandles i The Cambridge History of China.

Michael Loewe studerte ved The Perse School i Cambridge og deretter Magdalen College i Oxford. Han virket som specialist officer i den britiske regjerings Communications’ Headquarters fra 1942 til 1956, og deretter som dosent i Øst-Asias historie ved University of London. Han ble tilknyttet University of Cambridge i 1963, og ble pensjonist i 1990.
