ਆਰ. ਮਾਈਕਲ (ਰਾਬਰਟ ਮਾਈਕਲ) ਬਾਗਬੀ (ਜਨਮ 1953) ਇੱਕ ਕੈਨੇਡੀਅਨ ਮਨੋਵਿਗਿਆਨੀ, ਸੀਨੀਅਰ ਕਲੀਨੀਸ਼ਿਪ ਸਾਇੰਟਿਸਟ ਅਤੇ ਸੈਂਟਰ ਫਾਰ ਐਡਿਕਸ਼ਨ ਐਂਡ ਮਾਨਸਿਕ ਹੈਲਥ (ਸੀਐਮਐਚ) ਦੇ ਕਲੀਨੀਕਲ ਰਿਸਰਚ ਦੇ ਡਾਇਰੈਕਟਰ ਹਨ। ਉਹ ਟੋਰਾਂਟੋ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਦੇ ਮਨੋਵਿਗਿਆਨ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੂਰਾ ਪ੍ਰੋਫੈਸਰ ਹੈ।[1] ਉਹ ਜੁਲਾਈ, 2011 ਵਿੱਚ ਟੋਰਾਂਟੋ ਸਕਾਰਬਰੋ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਦੇ ਮਨੋਵਿਗਿਆਨ ਦੇ ਪੂਰੇ ਪ੍ਰੋਫੈਸਰ ਬਣੇ।

ਮੁਡਲੀ ਖੋਜ ਦੀਆਂ ਰੁਚੀਆਂ ਮਨੋਵਿਗਿਆਨ ਅਤੇ ਕਾਨੂੰਨ ਨੂੰ ਫੋਰੈਂਸਿਕ ਮਨੋਵਿਗਿਆਨਕ ਵਜੋਂ ਸਿਖਿਅਤ ਹੋਣ ਦੇ ਦੁਆਲੇ ਘੁੰਮਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਵੀ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਜਾਗਰੂਕਤਾ ਲੈ ਗਿਆ ਸ਼ਖ਼ਸੀਅਤ ਉਸਾਰੀ ਲਈ ਅਲੈਕਸੀਥਮੀਆ ਇਸ ਦੇ ਗੁਣ ਮਾਪਣ ਲਈ ਟੋਰੰਟੋ ਅਲੈਕਸੀਥਮੀਆ ਸਕੇਲ (ਟੀਏਐਸ-20) ਪੈਦਾ ਕਰ ਕੇ।[2][3][4][5] ਐਮ ਐਮ ਪੀ ਆਈ -2 ਦੇ ਸੰਸ਼ੋਧਨ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਆਰ ਐਮ ਬਾਗਬੀ ਟੈਸਟ ਸਕੋਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਮਾਣਿਤ ਕਰਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਹੱਤਵਪੂਰਣ ਤੌਰ ਤੇ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਸੀ, ਜਿਸਦਾ ਧਿਆਨ ਮਾਨਸਿਕ ਬਿਮਾਰੀ ਦੇ ਅਪਰਾਧ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਅਤੇ / ਜਾਂ ਗ਼ਲਤ ਅੰਗ ਵਾਲੇ ਵਿਅਕਤੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਪਛਾਣ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਯੋਗ ਹੋਣਾ ਸੀ।[6][7][8] ਹਾਲ ਹੀ ਵਿੱਚ, ਉਸਨੇ ਇਸ ਸੰਭਾਵਨਾ ਦੀ ਪੜਤਾਲ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਡੀਐਸਐਮ- IV ਲੈਂਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਨਵੇਂ ਡੀਐਸਐਮ-5 ਤੇ ਜ਼ੋਰ ਦੇਣ ਲਈ ਕਿਹਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਪੰਜ ਮਾਨਸਿਕ ਮਾਡਲ ਸ਼ਖਸੀਅਤ ਦੇ ਪਹਿਲੂਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਈ ਮਾਨਸਿਕ ਰੋਗਾਂ ਦੀ ਪਛਾਣ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਅਯਾਮੀ ਬਨਾਮ ਇੱਕ ਸਪਸ਼ਟ ਦ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟੀਕੋਣ ਦੀ ਪਛਾਣ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਵਰਤਿਆ ਜਾ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ।[9][10][11][12]
