ਅੰਤਰੰਗ ਸਾਥੀ ਹਿੰਸਾ

ਅੰਤਰੰਗ ਸਾਥੀ ਹਿੰਸਾ ਘਰੇਲੂ ਹਿੰਸਾ ਦਾ ਇੱਕ ਰੂਪ ਹੈ ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੌਜੂਦਾ ਜਾਂ ਸਾਬਕਾ ਸਾਥੀ ਨਾਲ ਇੱਕ ਅੰਤਰੰਗ ਰਿਸ਼ਤੇ 'ਚ ਦੂਜੇ ਸਾਥੀ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਹਿੰਸਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ।^[1][2] ਅੰਤਰੰਗ ਸਾਥੀ ਹਿੰਸਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਈ ਰੂਪ ਸਰੀਰਕ, ਮੌਖਿਕ, ਭਾਵਨਾਤਮਕ, ਆਰਥਿਕ ਅਤੇ ਜਿਨਸੀ ਸ਼ੋਸ਼ਣ ਸ਼ਾਮਿਲ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਵਿਸ਼ਵ ਸਿਹਤ ਸੰਗਠਨ (WHO) ਅੰਤਰੰਗ ਸਾਥੀ ਹਿੰਸਾ ਬਾਰੇ ਦੱਸਦੀ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਅੰਤਰੰਗ ਸਾਥੀ ਹਿੰਸਾ ਆਮ ਤੌਰ 'ਤੇ  ਅੰਤਰੰਗ ਰਿਸ਼ਤਿਆਂ ਲਈ ਸਰੀਰਕ, ਮਨੋਵਿਗਿਆਨਕ ਜਾਂ ਜਿਨਸੀ ਨੁਕਸਾਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਕਾਰਨ ਬਣਦਾ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਗੰਦੇ ਸੰਬੰਧਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਵਿਵਹਾਰ ਦਾ, ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਰੀਰਕ ਜ਼ੁਲਮ, ਲਿੰਗਕ ਜ਼ਬਰਦਸਤੀ, ਮਨੋਵਿਗਿਆਨਕ ਦੁਰਵਿਹਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਕੰਟਰੋਲ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਵਿਵਹਾਰ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹਨ।"^[3]

ਬੇਨਿਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਔਰਤ ਖ਼ਿਲਾਫ਼ ਸਰੀਰਕ ਹਿੰਸਾ 

ਅੰਤਰੰਗ ਸਾਥੀ ਦੀ ਹਿੰਸਾ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੋ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਵਿਚਕਾਰ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ ਜਿਹਨਾਂ 'ਚ ਇੱਕ ਗੂੜ੍ਹਾ ਰਿਸ਼ਤਾ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸ 'ਚ ਵਿਪਰੀਤ ਜਾਂ ਸਮਲਿੰਗੀ ਜੋੜੇ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ 'ਚ ਪੀੜ੍ਹਤ ਔਰਤ ਅਤੇ ਮਰਦ ਦੋਵੇਂ ਹੋ ਸਕਦੇ ਹਨ। ਜੋੜੇ ਸ਼ਾਇਦ ਡੇਟਿੰਗ, ਸਹੇੜਨ ਜਾਂ ਵਿਆਹੇ ਹੋ ਸਕਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਘਰ ਅੰਦਰ ਜਾਂ ਬਾਹਰ ਹਿੰਸਾ ਹੋ ਸਕਦੀ ਹੈ।

ਨਜਦੀਕੀ ਸਾਂਝੇਦਾਰਾਂ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਲਿੰਗਕ ਹਿੰਸਾ ਦੇਸ਼ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਵੱਖਰੀ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ 25% ਔਰਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਬਰਦਸਤੀ ਸੈਕਸ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਅਧੀਨ ਪਹੁੰਚ ਸਕਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਕੁਝ ਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੈਕਸ, ਜਾਂ ਵਿਆਹੁਤਾ ਬਲਾਤਕਾਰ ਅਕਸਰ ਘਰੇਲੂ ਹਿੰਸਾ, ਖਾਸ ਕਰਕੇ ਸਰੀਰਕ ਸ਼ੋਸ਼ਣ ਦਾ ਹੋਰ ਰੂਪ  ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
