Dave Hutchinson (n. 1960, Sheffield, Anglia, Regatul Unit) este un scriitor englez de science fiction. A ținut cursuri de istorie americană la Universitatea din Nottingham. Ulterior a scris pentru The News Weekly și Dundee Courier timp de aproape 25 de ani.^[3] El este cel mai bine cunoscut pentru seria Fractured Europe, care a primit mai multe nominalizări la premii. În 2017, al treilea roman al seriei, Europe in Winter, a câștigat Premiul BSFA pentru cel mai bun roman.^[4]

Biografie

La 21 de ani, Hutchinson a publicat patru volume de povestiri:^[5] Thumbprints (1978), Fools' Gold (1979), Torn Air (1980) și The Paradise Equation (1981), toate sub pseudonimul David Hutchinson.
