Ana Maria Rey is a Colombie theoretical pheesicist, professor at Varsity o Colorado at Boulder an a JILA fellae. Notit for her research intae ultra-cauld atoms, she wis awairdit a "Genius" grant in 2013 bi the MacArthur Foundation[1][3] an the 2014 Maria Goeppert-Mayer Award of the American Physical Society.[4]
Rey earned a bachelor's degree in pheesics at Universidad de los Andes in Bogotá in 1999. On 29 Julie 2000, Rey got marriet. Twa days later, she immigratit tae the Unitit States.[1] She got her Ph.D. in pheesics at Varsity o Maryland in 2004.[3] She went on tae wirk as a postdoctoral fellae at Harvard Varsity.[5]
