Lockhart is the Scots Conservative Shadai Cabinet Secretar for Constitution, Europe and External Affairs.[4] Forby, he sits on the Finance and Constitution an the Culture, Europe and External Affairs Committees in the Scots Pairlament.[5] Lockhart is the Convenor o the Cross Pairty Group (CPG) on Japan as weel.[6] Dean is the Convenor o the Cross Pairty Group (CPG) on China, an the Convenor o the Cross Pairty Group (CPG) on USA.[7]
