Deir al-Asafir (Arabic: دير العصافير; forbye spellt as Dayr al-Assafir) is a veelage in soothren Sirie, admeenistratively pairt o the Rif Dimashq Govrenorate, locatit sootheast o Damascus. Naurhaun localities include Babbila wastlins, al-Maliha norwastlins, Zabdin norlins, Shabaa soothwastlins. Accordin tae the Sirie Central Bureau o Statistics, Deir al-Asafir haed a population of 6,209 in the 2004 census.[1]
