Early days

Lahannya's first release came bi complete chance efter the US unnergrund label, Zenflesh, came athort a demo o her first track, "Drowning". They persuadit her tae go aheid an record a full version o it for their fortcomin compilation album, Amduscias. Despite being completely on her awn, an haein nae supportin baund, she went aheid an wis pleasantly surprised at the positive feedback she receivit as a result.^[1] The feedback inspired her tae write an EP, which wis tae form the basis for the baund seen the day.

Formation o the baund

Efter mony collaborations wi numerous acts, such as Greenhaus an Soman, Lahannya came intae contact wi Umbra Et Imago bassist Lutz Demmler at the M'Era Luna Festival in 2004. This quickly developit intae a friendship an collaboration. A couple o brief line-up chynges, towards the end o 2006 the duo came intae contact wi ex Killing Miranda drummer Belle, an NFD guitarist Chris Milden.

Shotgun Reality

The baund nou set about writin an recordin their debut album, Shotgun Reality. Upon completion they secured support slots wi Emilie Autumn an Moon Kana.

Welcome To The Underground

Efter the success o Shotgun Reality, Lahannya wirkit on a concept EP as the build up tae the baund's seicont album. Upon completion o the EP, Lahannya supportit German goth rock baund ASP on a 3 week Germany tour. ASP contributit a remix o the track Inside the Machine tae the "Welcome To The Underground" EP an aw. Twa UK tours follaeed, which wur vera successful wi audiences continually growin, but the undisputit heichlicht wis Lahannya's performance at the open air amphitheatre Parkbuehne as pairt o the 4 day Wave Gotik Treffen muisic festival, in Leipzig, Germany.^[2]

Defiance

The baund then released their seicont album, Defiance, on 19 October 2009.

Scavenger wis released in November 2011 - a stop gap release mixin twa new sangs an a live DVD frae the FMVF 2009.
