San Lucas Camotlán is a toun an municipality in Oaxaca in sooth-wastren Mexico. The municipality covers a aurie o 127.58 km². It is pairt o the Sierra Mixe destrict athin the Sierra Norte de Oaxaca Region.[1]
As o 2005, the municipality haed 518 hoosehaulds wi a total population o 2,524 o whom 2,168 spoke a indigenous leid. Aboot 90% o the population is engagit in agricultur, an 10% in ainimal husbandry.[1] The Union o Indigenous Commonties o the Isthmus Region, a cooperative foondit in 1982, assists in production an distribution o the local products, notably coffee, unner a fair trade label.[2]
