Santo Domingo Yanhuitlán is a veelage an municipality in the state o Oaxaca, Mexico, locatit northeast o Oaxaca ceety. It is pairt o the Nochixtlán Destrict in the sootheast o the Mixteca Region. It is 2,140 metres abuin sea level. Its name comes frae the patron saunt o the toun (Saunt Dominic) an the last pairt is frae Náhuatl meanin “near something new”.

It haes a notable façade, baptismal font, “sotocoro” ruif, a lairge nummer o fine colonial-era santos (statues o the saunts) various altarpieces (retablos) on the sides o the kirk as well as a main altarpiece constructit lik a fauldin screen.[2][3] It conteens an antique pipe organ biggit aroond 1700 an aw an restored tae playin condeetion bi Pascal Quoirin in 1998.[4]
