Allobates gasconi is a frog. It lives in Brazil and Peru.[2][3][1]
This frog lives in Amazon forests called várzea that fill with water some of the time.[2] It can live in forestst that were never cut down and in forests that are growing back. Scientists have seen the frog between 100 and 250 meters above sea level.[1]
The place where this frog lives has many protected parks in it, for example Parque Ambiental Chico Mendes and Reserva Extrativista do Baixo Juruá.[1]
The female frog lays eggs on land. After the eggs hatch, the adult frogs carry the tadpoles to water.[1]
Scientists say this frog is not in danger of dying out. In some places, fires and people cutting down trees to get wood to build with can hurt this frog.[1]
