Amos Luzzatto (3 June 1928 – 9 September 2020) was an Italian-Jewish writer and essayist. He was one of the most important representatives of Jewish Italian culture in the 20th century.[1] He was teaching at the Rabbinical College in Padua and was an Italian representative of the "Wissenschaft des Judentums". He was born in Rome.
From June 1998 to February 2006, he was the President of the Union of Italian Jewish Communities.[2][3]
Luzzatto died on 9 September 2020 in Venice, Italy at the age of 92.[4]
