Backlash (2002) was a professional wrestling pay-per-view show made by the World Wrestling Federation (WWF). It was held on April 21, 2002 at the Kemper Arena in Kansas City, Missouri. It was the fourth Backlash event held by the WWF.

This was the first time a WWF pay-per-view was held at Kemper Arena since Over The Edge in 1999 where Owen Hart lost his life after he fell to the ring.^[1] Backlash was also last pay-per-view before the WWF renamed itself to World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) on May 6.^[2]
