Bernard "Bernie" Marcus (May 12, 1929 – November 4, 2024) was an American businessman. He co-founded Home Depot and was the company's first CEO. He served as Chairman of the Board until retiring in 2002.
Marcus died on November 4, 2024 in Boca Raton, Florida at the age of 95.[3][4]
