Bob Carlisle

Bob Carlisle is an American singer and songwriter. In 1993, he had a number one song on Billboard's Christian CHR National Airplay music chart.[1]

He (and another) wrote a number one song on Billboard's Country Airplay music chart (1998).[2]

Early life

He was born on September 29, 1956. He comes from Santa Ana, California.

He played in bands - Allies and Billy Thermal.

In 1997 he had a number one album on Billboard's Top Christian Albums music chart.[1]

He won a Grammy, together with Randy Thomas - Grammy Award for Best Country Song.

As a songwriter he has written "Why'd You Come in Here Lookin' Like That". Dolly Parton took the song to number one on Billboard's Country Airplay music chart;[2] The song's other songwriter is Randy Thomas.
