The COVID-19 pandemic in Vanuatu is part of the ongoing worldwide pandemic of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2). The first case in Vanuatu was confirmed on 11 November 2020.[1] The Vanuatuan Government and groups such as the Vanuatu Red Cross support and encourage vaccination against COVID-19.[3]
