Christopher Michael Carr[1] (born February 8, 1972)[2][3] is an American lawyer and politician. He is a member of the Republican Party. He has been the Attorney General of Georgia since 2016.

In November 2024, Carr announced his candidacy for Governor of Georgia in the 2026 gubernatorial election.[4]
