Crime in Pakistan is done in many places and through different ways. Some Pakistani places where crime happens a lot are the cities of Karachi, Lahore, Faisalabad, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Peshawar, Multan, Hyderabad, Islamabad and Quetta.[1][2][3][4][5][6][7][8] Some types of major crimes such as murder, rape, kidnapping, armed robbery, burglary, carjacking and corruption are done.[9] In the city of Lahore, 379 murders, 500 attempted murders, 2,650 abductions and 55 rapes were done in 2019 only.[9] The amount of crime and the unemployment rate in Pakistan are related. Crime statistics of Pakistan shows that there is a fast increase in the number of crimes, like other countries of the world. This is because of high unemployment, more poverty, and inflation and urbanization. Some other things make it worse.[10][11]

Organised crime in Pakistan includes fraud, racketeering, drug trafficking, smuggling, money laundering, extortion, ransom, political violence, and more. There started to be more terrorist attacks during the 2000s, especially in North-West Frontier Province, the Federally Administered Tribal Areas, Balochistan, Karachi and Lahore. People steal cars there often. This happens more in the big cities.[9]
