Edappadi K. Palaniswami

Edappadi K. Palaniswami is an Indian politician. He is the Former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu. From 2023, Palaniswami is the general secretary of the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam, a Dravidian party.

Early life

Edappadi K. Palaniswamy was born on 12th May 1954. He was born in Siluvampalayam village in Salem district. His father's name is Mr.Karuppa Gounder . His Mother's name is Thavasi Ammal.

Politics

Palaniswami has won the state assembly elections four times from the Edapadi constituency.[1][2] He won the elections in the years of 1989,[3] 1991,[4] 2011[5] and 2016.
