Edna Molewa

Bomo Edith Edna Molewa (23 March 1957 – 22 September 2018) was a South African politician. She was born in Bela-Bela, South Africa.[1]

From 2004 to 2009, she was Premier of North West Province.

Molewa member of the African National Congress. Molewa became the Minister of Water and Environmental Affairs of South Africa on 31 October 2010 under the Jacob Zuma presidency. On 25 May 2014 her Ministry was split and she was appointed Minister of Environmental Affairs..[2]

Molewa died on 22 September 2018 in Pretoria, South Africa from complications of a virus at the age of 61.[3]
