Francine Smith (née Ling; formerly Dawson) (born September 26, 1967) is a fictional character on the animated television series American Dad!. She is the wife of the title character Stan Smith and the mother of Hayley and Steve.[1]
Francine is voiced by Wendy Schaal. She was adopted by Asian parents when her wealthy parents decided to leave her behind at an airport because she was too young to travel in first-class.
