Fredrick Chien, or Chien Foo (traditional Chinese: 錢復; simplified Chinese: 钱复; pinyin: Qián Fù; born 17 February 1935) is a Chinese politician. He was the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of China on Taiwan from 1990 to 1996 and president of the Control Yuan from 1999 to 2005.[1]
Chien was born in Hangzhou, Chekiang.
