Gerald Hannon (July 10, 1944 – May 9, 2022) was a Canadian journalist.[1]
Hannon was known for talking about pedophilia in his article "Men Loving Boys Loving Men" (1977).[2] Hannon was accused and later found innocent on obscenity charges laid because of what he wrote in the article.
In 1995, he was controversially hired by Ryerson University as a journalism instructor while he was working as a male prostitute at the same time.[3]
Hannon died on May 9, 2022 by assisted suicide, four years after being diagnosed with Parkinson's disease in Toronto, Ontario at the age of 77.[4]
