The Honda Elevate, also known in Japan as the Honda WR-V, is a subcompact Crossover SUV made by Honda since 2023.
The Honda Elevate was first shown in India in June 2023.[3] Honda said the name Elevate is an acronymon that means empowerment, liberation, exploration, versatility, aspiration, transformation and evolution.[4] The Elevate shares its platform with the Honda City and the Honda Amaze. It is the only SUV Honda sells in India after the discontinuation of the first gen Honda WR-V.[5]
The car has a 1.5 liter VTEC petrol engine with a 6-speed manual CVT transmission. Honda said that the Elevate will be an electric car in the next three years.[6]
The Honda Elevate is currently sold in India, Japan where it was launched as the Honda WR-V in November,[7] [8] and South Africa where it was launched in February 2024.[9]
