Inindo: Way of the Ninja (伊忍道 打倒信長 or Inindou Datou Nobunaga, スーパー伊忍道 打倒信長 or Super Inindou Datou Nobunaga in its Super Famicom version) is a RPG developed and published by Koei.[2] Originally it was released for the PC8801SR, PC9801, MSX2 home computer and Sharp X68000 in 1991, after it was remade for the Super NES in 1992 to Japan and in 1993 to North America.[3]
The story of the game is focused on a young ninja Iga in the feudal period of Japan. His village is devastated by those of Oda Nobunaga's soldiers.[4] As a result, he decides to travel around Japan in search of training to improve his ninja technique and also find allies to take revenge.[2]
