Joseph Ayo Babalola (25 April 1904 – 26 July 1959) was the first General Evangelist of the Christ Apostolic Church,[1] Nigeria.
The death of Joseph Ayo Babalola took place on 26 July 1959 at Ede, Osun State, Nigeria. Babalola seemed to have shown "no sign of illness" prior to his death.[2]
The story of his death is credited to one Baba Abiye at Ede.[3][4]
