Leonie Ossowski was the pen name of Jolanthe von Brandenstein (15 August 1925 – 4 February 2019), a German writer. She wrote under the name Jo Tiedemann. She wrote scripts for DEFA: Zwei Mütter ("Two mothers") and Stern ohne Himmel ("Stars without Sky").[1] She has lived in Berlin from 1980 until her death. Her 1977 novel Die große Flatter ("The big flutter") was also made into a movie.[2]
