London Midland was a train operating company in the United Kingdom. It ran 867.4 kilometres (539.0 miles) of track and served 146 stations. During 2007, it carried 591.5 million passengers. London Midland operated the West Midlands franchise between 2007 and 2017.
In August 2017 the franchise was awarded to a new train operating company, West Midlands Trains, who took over on 10 December 2017.[1]
