Michael J. Rogers (born June 2, 1963) is an American former law enforcement officer and politician. He was the U.S. representative for Michigan's 8th congressional district from 2001 to 2015. He is a member of the Republican Party. He was a CNN national security news commentator.[1]
Rogers was a candidate for the U.S. Senate in the 2024 election.[2] He lost the election in November 2024 to Democratic congresswoman Elissa Slotkin.[3]
