Ming the Merciless

Ming the Merciless is a fictional character in the sci-fi world of Flash Gordon. Ming first appeared in the Flash Gordon comic strip in 1934. He is the main villain of the strip. He is also the villain in the Flash Gordon movie serials, television series, and movie adaptation. He rules the Planet Mongo. Charles B. Middleton played the character in the movie serials.
