Muhammad Saalih al Munajjid (Arabic: مُحَمَّدٌ صَالِحٌ الْمُنَجِّدُ) (7 June 1960-present) is a Palestinian Islamic scholar who was born in Syria and currently lives in Saudi Arabia. He founded the online fatwa service IslamQA.info, a popular online fatwa service used by followers of Wahhabism and Salafism.[1][2]
Muhammad was born in the city of Aleppo, Syria in the year 1960 but grew up in Saudi Arabia.[3][4] He studied Islamic law under Ibn Baz, Ibn Uthaimeen, Ibn Jibreen, and al-Barrak.[5][6]
