Narendra "Bull" Kumar, PVSM, KC, AVSM, (also spelled Narinder; (8 December 1933 – 31 December 2020) was an Indian soldier-mountaineer.[1][2] He was deputy leader of the first Indian successful Everest Expedition in 1965.[3][4][5]
In 1965, Narendra was awarded Padma Shri, the fourth highest civilian award in India,[6][7] and Arjuna Award [8] for the first Indian successful Everest Expedition in 1965.[9][10][11][12][13][14]
