The National Elk Refuge is a wildlife refuge in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. It was started in 1912 to protect habitat for one of the largest elk (moose) herds.

The area is 24,700 acres (10,000 ha). An average of 7,500 elk live there each winter. U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service manages the refuge. The refuge's elk migrate from as far away as southern Yellowstone National Park.
