The Open Tree of Life is a project by the National Science Foundation.[1][2] The first draft had 2.3 million species. The first draft was made public in September 2015.[3] The Interactive graph allows the user to view collected data. The tree has taxonomic data with phylogenetic trees. Clicking on a species will return its source.
History
[change | change source]The Open Tree of Life started in June 2012. A National Science Foundation award was given to some researchers. In 2015, a two-year award was made.
