Pentagón Jr.[a] (born February 5, 1985) is a Mexican masked luchador. He currently wrestles for All Elite Wrestling (AEW) and competes under the ring name Penta El Zero Miedo. He also appears in Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide (AAA). He wrestles in a tag team with his brother Rey Fénix called the Lucha Brothers.
Pentagón Jr. has also wrestled for Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide (AAA), Lucha Underground, Pro Wrestling Guerrilla (PWG), Major League Wrestling (MLW), Impact Wrestling, and Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL).
During his time in AEW, Pentagón Jr. has been a one-time AEW World Tag Team Champion and a one-time AEW World Trios Champion.
On Feburary 2, 2019, the Lucha Brothers faced The Young Bucks in a match on the independent circuit. After the match The Bucks offered the Lucha Brothers a contract to join All Elite Wrestling (AEW). They would end up signing non-exclusive contracts because they were also signed to Lucha Underground at the time.[1]
At Double Or Nothing, the Lucha Brothers would make their AEW in-ring debut. They would lose the AAA World Tag Team Championships to the Young Bucks.[2] At AAA's Verano de Escándalo, they would win the titles back.[3] They would enter a tournament to crown the first AEW World Tag Team Champions but they lost in the finals to SoCal Uncensored.[4]
On the March 4, 2020 episode of Dynamite, Pentagón Jr. and Fenix would attack Orange Cassidy and Best Friends (Chuck Taylor and Trent) and join Pac to create a stable called Death Triangle.[5]
The Lucha Brothers would enter a number one contender tournament for the AEW World Tag Team Championship. On the August 27 edition of Rampage, they would defeat Jurassic Express (Jungle Boy and Luchasaurus) to become number one contenders.[6] At All Out on September 5, 2021, the Lucha Brothers would defeat the Young Bucks in a steel cage match and would win the AEW World Tag Team Championships. This was Pentagón Jr.'s first championship in AEW.[7] Both Dave Meltzer and Bryan Alvarez said that their match was the best cage match that they had ever seen, and that it was one of the best AEW matches in the company's history. Meltzer would rate the match 5.75 stars.[8] They would lose the AAA World Tag Team Championships to FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) on the October 16, 2021 episode of Dynamite and they would lose the AEW World Tag Team Championship to Jurassic Express on January 5, 2022 episode of Dynamite.[9][10]
On the September 7th episode of Dynamite, the Lucha Brothers would defeat Best Friends to become the new AEW World Trios Champions.[11] They would lose the titles to The Elite (Kenny Omega and the Young Bucks) on the January 11, 2023 episode of Dynamite.[12]
