Pete Astudillo

Pedro "Pete" Astudillo (born 1963 in Laredo, Texas) is a Mexican American songwriter. He became a back-up dancer and singer for the band "Selena y Los Dinos". The band's lead singer Selena was the "Queen of Tejano music". Astudillo later left the band after writing several #1 Billboard hits. He left to become a solo artist. Most of his written and recorded songs were all nominated for awards. Most of these did win the awards they were nominated for.[1][2][3]
