Phyllis Eisenstein

Phyllis Eisenstein (February 26, 1946 – December 7, 2020) was an American author of science fiction and fantasy short stories and novels. She was nominated for both the Hugo Award and Nebula Award. Eisenstein was born in Chicago. Her best known works were Born to Exile (1977), Sorcerer's Son (1979) and The Crystal Palace (1988).

Eisenstein died on December 7, 2020 in Chicago from COVID-19 and a stroke at the age of 74.[1]
