Pluto TV is a video streaming service. It is owned and operated by the Paramount Streaming division of Paramount Global.[2] The company was founded by Tom Ryan, Ilya Pozin and Nick Grouf in 2013. It is based in Los Angeles, California.[3] Pluto provides its services in the United States, parts of the rest of the Americas and Europe. It offers programming in a way that is similar to traditional broadcast programming. The service earns money from advertisements seen during programming. These ads are seen in ad breaks similar to those on conventional television.[4]
