Robert Ronald "Ron" Murphy (April 10, 1933 – March 6, 2014) was a Canadian professional ice hockey player. he played for the New York Rangers, Chicago Black Hawks, Detroit Red Wings and Boston Bruins over the course of an 889-game National Hockey League (NHL) career.[1] He was born in Hamilton, Ontario.

Murphy died on March 6, 2014 at the age of 80.[2]
