Rylan Wiens (born January 2, 2002) is a Canadian diver. He has competed in the 10 m synchro and 10 m platform events.
Wiens first competed professionally for the Canadian national team at the 2018 Commonwealth Games where he finished 8th the platform and 6th in the synchro events.[1]
Before becoming an Olympian, Wiens won a bronze medal at the 2021 Diving World Cup,[2] two silver medal at the 2022 Commonwealth Games,[3] a silver medal at the 2022 World Aquatics Championships,[4] and a silver medal at the 2023 Pan America Games.[5]
Wiens is a two-time Olympian. He competed at the 2020 Summer Olympics finishing in 19th place.[6] Wiens, along with his diving partner Nathan Zsombor-Murray, competed for Canada in the 10 m synchro event at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris, France. The pair would end up winning bronze medals, making it the first time that a Canadian has medaled in the event at the Olympics.[7]
