Samuel Pearson Goddard III (born January 29, 1947) is an American lawyer and politician. He was the Mayor of Phoenix from 1984 to 1990. He was the 24th Attorney General of Arizona from 2003 to 2011. Goddard is a member of the Democratic Party.
He ran for Governor of Arizona twice in 1990 and in 2010.[1]
